It transfers the extra tire/wheel weight off the aluminum tailgate and redirects it to the bumper. Smooth Operation: A dual taper bearing and dual heim pivot ensure smooth opening and closing of the carrier. Camera Mount: The adjustable camera mount allows you to relocate and align the factory rear camera. Third Brake Light Compatibility: The carrier accommodates the third brake light while retaining full functionality. Hi-Lift Jack Mount: Includes a mounting point for use with a Hi-Lift style jack or similar accessories. Fitment Note: The carrier can fit up to a 20-inch wheel and a 38”x13.5” tire.
